Run DOSCOLOR and answer the color questions and name your
.COM file. The DOSCOLOR program and .COM file run on both
the IBM PC and PCjr. It writes to disk a .COM file 48 BYTES
long that when loaded sets your DOS screen to 80 column mode
(for the PCjr) and the background, foreground and border
colors you have chosen. DOS will remain with these colors
until you reset them by running another DOSCOLOR .COM file
set with different colors. If you set the DOS colors in your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file then run another program and exit back to
DOS it will still have your customized background and
foreground colors, but it will not remember your border color
if it has been changed. It will also survive a CLS(clear
screen). This DOSCOLOR .COM file functions in place of
Norton's SA.COM for those of you familiar with it.
You must also have the DOS file ANSI.SYS on your boot disk
and DEVICE=ANSI.SYS in your CONFIG.SYS file.
Enjoy this programs and I would appreciate receiving feedback
on them.
