  14.      Time  Assignment  Speech  Intepolation is used  on  satelite 
  15. trunks.  What is does is lets more than one person to use a trunk 
  16. at  once.   It dose so by putting one person on while  the  other 
  17. isn't talking.  When you start talking the Time Assignment Speech 
  18. Intepolation operator finds you an open trunk. Sometimes a little 
  19. speach  is lost because of a delay in finding a trunk,  I'm  told 
  20. that  that is called "Clipping".  If you were transmitting  data, 
  21. clipping  would mess up everything.   This is why there is a Time 
  22. Assignment Speech Intepolation Locking Frequency, this keeps the
  23. Time Assignment Speech Intepolation Operator from putting  anyone 
  24. else  on your trunk,  or putting you on anyone elses  trunk.  The 
  25. Time  Assignment  Speech  Intepolation Locking Freq is  1850  Hz.
