  3.      Wunderment is a general "let your hair down and relax"
  4.      echo where discussion of almost anything is permitted
  5.      within the broad range of "good taste" with one exception:
  6.      NO Star Trek discussions.

  20.      The Rules for WUNDERMENT, as previously posted in the echo.
  21.      The latest revision of the rules....
  22.      (Subject to further change at the whim of the Moderator...}

  24. 1)   Anyone is free to post in here on any topic as long as they behave,
  25.      which means, mostly, be nice.  This includes your Poke'mon, too.
  26.  
  27. 2)   This is a "Family Echo" so keep the Adult Language to a minimum.
  28.  
  29. 3)   Flame-wars and other such "Jihads" are to be taken to FLAME, or
  30.      Netmail.
  31.  
  32. 4)   No /Star/ /Trek/, in *ANY* form.  There are entire networks dedicated
  33.      to the subject (HINT).  No compromises will be made.  This means *you*.
  34.  
  35. 5)   Worship Spam.  The Spam Goddess is to be placated at all times.  One
  36.      way is to use English, which is all She speaks.
  37.  
  38. 6)   Be especially kind to any and all non- or semi-human inhabitants of
  39.      Wunderment, including Elder Gods, whenever the 13th of a month falls
  40.      on a Friday.  Also be kind to Cap'n Daft, wherever he physically or
  41.      chronologically may be at the moment.

  43. 7)   Don't push the moderator.  He likes to keep moderating to an extreme
  44.      minimum, as he tends to go to extremes.  You /don't/ want to find out.

  46. 8)   In any disputes, the decision of the Moderator shall be final, and not
  47.      open for discussion.  As he is a collector of blades, you may be sure
  48.      he has the sharpest feed-cut sword in FidoNet.

  50. 9)  "Newbie bashing," as in a certain "other" echo, is reserved unto the
  51.      powers of the Moderaptorial entities, and will be frowned upon as a
  52.      possible violation of rules 1, 3, 13 and 12.75.

  54. 10)  Flirting isn't just tolerated, it's *almost* mandatory.
  55.  
  56.      Offerings of coin and macadamia nut cookies to the Moderator (that's
  57.      me) are always accepted.  Oven-fresh preferred.  Flowers and other
  58.      gifts intended for the Moderator must be delivered TO the moderator,
  59.      WITHOUT diversion, and WITHOUT transmat copying without prior express
  60.      permission.  Donations of blades will be held in high regard, but are
  61.      not expected.  No one here is rich.  (Damn)

  63. 11)  Real Names are Optional!  Aliases accepted, but not required.

  65. 12)  Thou shalt /NOT/ be "excessively annoying."

  67. 13)  Thou shalt /NOT/ be "easily annoyed."

  69. 14)  *NO* advertising of any sort (New BBSs, Yer band's new CD, "blue light
  70.      specials", or ANYTHING else), without the EXPRESS written permission
  71.      of the Moderaptor, the Spam Goddess, and the Council of Elders--which
  72.      will convene only when February 29 falls on the Friday of a full moon,
  73.      but not more than once per Galactic rotation.

  77.      While a certain amount of "overlap" and "spillover" is expected, this
  78.      is *not* that echo, and is *not* to be compared therewith.  All migrant
  79.      Dwarves are expected to keep that in mind, on pain of losing access to
  80.      this Wundrous place, and certain other punishments best not mentioned
  81.      here.

  85.      Any violation of Rule 12 shall also be considered a violation of Rules
  86.      5, 6, 7 and 10 and anything else I can arbitrarily dredge up.  Excessive
  87.      violations of Rule 6 may be considered violations of Rules 1 and 12.

  89.      Violations of Rule 4 will be punished by immediate discorporation, ie.
  90.      you will be banned from the echo.  Length of time to be determined,
  91.      but no less than two weeks.  There are no second chances.
  92.  
  93.      Violations of Rule 12.75 will be dealt with [Elsewhere] (the other
  94.      echo), where violators can be flayed, filleted, and fried, without
  95.      violating any Rules.
  96.  
  97.      WARNING:  Denials of violations will not be of any use, as the
  98.      Moderator will save and re-post the messages in question.  He also has
  99.      an excellent memory and a mean streak a mile wide.  Arguments will
  100.      accomplish nothing more than lengthen your absense.  As stated before,
  101.      he prefers to keep Moderating to an extreme minimum, so don't push your
  102.      luck.  Sooner or later, it /will/ run out.  Trust me on this...

  104.      The Moderator reserves the right to invent rules to cover any situation
  105.      not met by the existing Rules.  Be as inventive as you can stand, as
  106.      it's /your/ hide, not mine.
