  9. Echo conference rules.

  11. The rules begin to work after 36 hours after publishing.
  12. Before that, the previous published rules work.
  13. 1. Subject
  14. RUSSIAN_TUTOR echo conference is intended for conversations in
  15. Russian language on miscellaneous subjects, discussing of the Russian
  16. language rules and learning it. As distinct of other conferences, it is
  17. allowed to point subscribers to their grammar, spelling and syntax
  18. mistakes.
  19. 2. Conference language
  20. The official languages of the echo conference are Russian and English.
  21. Use of other languages is allowed if necessary - for example, for
  22. teaching the subscribers Russian language if they don't know it at all.
  23. Use Russian whenever you can.
  24. 3. Conference distribution
  25. Distribution of the echo conference is allowed in the next networks:
  26. FidoNet          Zones 1-6    www.fidonet.org
  27. WhiteTargetNet   512:16/*.*
  28. FutureNet        14:875/*.*
  29. For the issue of its distribution in other networks appeal to the
  30. moderator.
  31. 4. Forbidden activities
  32. Forbidden activities are personal attacks, open and not open insults.
  33. Distribution of illegal information is prohibited.
  34. Discussion of politics is extremely unwanted.
  35. Using of obscene words is not worth, if not discussing their origins
  36. in the language.
  37. Discussion of this echo's rules is prohibited and not required in the
  38. echo. Use netmail or *MODERATOR* echos.
  39. 5. Technical requirements
  40. It is desirable to put your real name into the "From:" field.
  41. At the same time it is undesirable to use high-ASCII in it - if
  42. necessary, specify the correct writing in message body.
  43. Quote the amount of text from the message you answer, that needed
  44. to understand your message. Remember that many people pay for phone
  45. connection or traffic.
  46. UUE is allowed only with the moderator's permission.
  47. 6. Moderating
  48. The moderator keeps the echo in order. Moderator has the right to
  49. notify and disconnect any subscriber at his discretion, if he thinks
  50. the subscriber interferes with the normal communication of other
  51. subscribers and/or violates this rules.
  52. The moderator can appoint assistants for himself - comoderators.
  53. Comoderator has the same authorities as the moderator, except of
  54. appointing of comoderators and changing this rules. At the same time,
  55. the moderator's decisions has more weight than any comoderator's one.
  56. If the moderator is absent for 3 months, one of the comoderators
  57. becomes a temporary moderator by comoderators' agreement. If the
  58. comoderators can't agree, the one specified first in the rules
  59. becomes the temporary moderator. At the same time, there can be
  60. some temporary moderators - _one for each FidoNet zone_.
  61. If the moderator is absent for 1 year, and cannot be accessed by
  62. netmail, the temporary moderator becomes the full-rights moderator.
  63. *Temporary moderator cannot delete name of the previous moderator from
  64. the rules. 1 year later the temporary moderator becomes the full
  65. rights moderator, if the previous moderator is absent and is not
  66. accessible by netmail.
  67. If no moderator or comoderator are available, the decisions of echo
  68. coordinators of the backbones the echo is on work.
  69. If the previous moderator returns during a year after the temporary
  70. moderator appointment, he can without any elections become the
  71. moderator again.
