  4.              Official Conference Guidelines

  7.  Quicken Software Help Echo
  8.    An echo that is used to discuss QUICKEN software and
  9.      its use.  The echo topics include both DOS and
  10.      Windows versions (and any future platforms it is
  11.      ported to) as well as all versions of the
  12.      software.  The echo will also include related
  13.      packages like "QuickPay", "QuickBooks", etc.

  15.                          RULES
  16.  
  17. 1 - LET the moderator moderate.
  18.  
  19. 2 - Stay on topic. Do not respond to off-topic
  20. messages: let the moderator handle them.
  21.  
  22. 3 - No foul, vulgar, or obscene language will be
  23. allowed.
  24.  
  25. 4 - Marketing and advertising commercial services are
  26. strictly prohibited.
  27.  
  28. 5 - Moderator rules, guidelines, policies, and actions
  29. are NOT to be discussed on the open echo. ALL such
  30. discussion *MUST* be in NetMail. Lack of access to
  31. NetMail is NOT considered a valid excuse.
  32.  
  33. 6 - Failure to adhere to the rules and guidelines of
  34. the echo may be grounds for removal.
  35.  
  36. 7 - Use real names.
  37.  
  38. 8 - Extended characters (often referred to as "High
  39. ASCII") will not be permitted in headers, origin lines,
  40. signatures, nor to create "cutesy" quote boxes. NEVER
  41. use visible low end ASCII characters (1 through 31)
  42. ANYWHERE in a FidoNet message.
  43.  
  44. 9 - Avoid excessive quoting. It costs money to send
  45. messages, but do quote enough so others know to what
  46. you are referring.
  47.  
  48. 10 - These rules are subject to change at any time.  If
  49. you find a way to be annoying, the moderator will make
  50. a rule to cover it!
  51.  
  52.      Just behave reasonably and we can all have fun
  53. with this hobby.
