  1. The \yeSysop\no command, which is only executable by users with access level 254
  2. or 255, allows you to change and maintain various aspects of the bulletin
  3. board. Sysop displays a prompt with several options:

  5.      \yeOptions\no allows you to change and inquire into a user's stats and 
  6. options. In addition to the regular options, you have access to (and can 
  7. change) the user's access levels, time limit, and other items.

  9.      \yeAdjust\no is similar to Options, but provides for changing several 
  10. fields which are normally system-maintained, including upload/download
  11. statistics and login dates.

  13.     \yeValidate\no lets you assign one of your predefined default access 
  14. levels (as designated in the CONFIG program) to a user. (You can also 
  15. perform this function at any message disposition prompt, via Other/Validate).

  17.      \yeMail\no allows you to inquire into the mailbox of a specific user. You
  18. are prompted for the user's name, after which you are transferred to the
  19. MAIL command prompt, where you can execute any MAIL operation on the
  20. specific user's account. Note that if you read a user's mail, the "times
  21. read" indicator is not incremented.

  23.      \yeTextedit\no gives you a way to edit short text files directly using the
  24. system's text editor. Files up to 400 lines long can be edited; notice that
  25. lines greater than 75 characters in length are handled by appending a "_"
  26. continuation character to the end of the line. Textedit gives you the option 
  27. to create a new file, too.

  29.      \yeExtended\no is the command that runs the "extended sysop" menu, which
  30. contains a host of commands relating to BBS maintenance. For a full
  31. description, run the extended sysop command and use the online help facility
  32. to get more information.

  34.      \yeRelog\no allows you to log off (during a remote session) without hanging 
  35. up the telephone. Instead, the "Select ANSI Mode ..." prompt returns, and 
  36. you can log into the system again using a different ID.
