EzCheck 1.0 was created to be used with EZROM 1.30h
(* which means I don't have tried it with other version, maybe it works also *)
EzCheck 1.0 is Freeware, which means you don't have to pay for it's use.

First of all. I can't guarantee that this program does anything else as
using disk place, but it works fine here why it shouldn't work at your BBS.
Since all this program does is reading the EZROM.REQ file and check it, there
is no reason why anything should be damaged, but since somebody can put the
file in his good ol' homecomputer and wonder why this file does strange things
on his good ol' Z80 Processor I can't take any guarentee for all what this
program does or not does.
Q: What does EzCheck 1.0?
A: It checks, if there is at least one unfilled request. If this is true
EzChecks terminates with errorcode 1 else it terminates with errorcode 0.
Q: Ey great and what is the sense of all this?
A: I usally forget to start EZREQ until users get rebelious about there
requests. With this tool you can put your EZREQ in a *.bat file which you
use often, without getting nerved by useless starts of EZREQ. EZREQ will
now only start if there is a reason for it, which means someone has made
a file request.
Q: May I put now EZREQ as door into my BBS?
A: Uhmm, yes and no!
If you can setup a menupoint just for local use. => Yes
if not => No, since EZREQ don't support communication over a serial port you
will surley have trouble if you don't login locally.
But when you can setup local menupoints, it is now a fine idea to put the
EZCHECK.BAT as menupoint in your login. So whenever you login EzCheck checks
if there is a reason to start EZREQ and start it when it's nesessary.
Q: How must I setup this tools?
A: If you are a real sysop you should get it working with this informations
if not you might not need this tool. <big grin>
Ops, one big information is missing you must put the ezcheck.exe file
in your EZROM directory.

OK, I stop now before the Document is getting bigger then the EXE-File <grin>
I hope you have fun with this tool and don't forget to tell everyone that
EZROM is a fine product...
By the way it would be fine to see someone uses this tool, so if you can
please send me a netmail oder postcard telling me that you are using it.
The address is found in the header of this file.
have a good time
