BGWHO 2.0 01 JAN 92

--------------------------------------------------------------
ABSTRACT
--------------------------------------------------------------
BGWHO creates an informative bulletin for your system that
includes today's callers. BGWHO may alternatively be run as
a logon door.
--------------------------------------------------------------
EXECUTION
--------------------------------------------------------------
If you wish to run this program as a door use this syntax:
BGWHO DOOR
Remember to use GATEWAY or DOORWAY if you want your users to be
able to see the output. The users ANSI selection will be read
from the GTUSER.BBS file.
If you want to make a bulletin, BGWHO will create a bulletin
based on the first command line parameter. It will make both
an ANSI bulletin and an ascii bulletin. I suggest running it
in the GTLOGOFF.BAT file. Example:
BGWHO 3
Would create a 3.CBS and 3 in the bulletin directory.
--------------------------------------------------------------
OPTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------
BGWHO bulletin|door [/ex:access_levels] [/nc] [/nf]
BGWHO will scan through all users in the USER.CTL file except
for any which have been deleted or banned from your board.
You may also 'exclude' certain access levels from the report.
This is useful if you have special friends that wish not to
be listed on the report. Example:
bgtop 4 /ex:zW0
The above syntax would cause BGTOP to ignore any user that
has an access level of 'z', 'W', or '0'. Please remember the
case of the access level is very important. An upper case
'Z' is completly different from a lower case 'z'. Ther is no
limit to the number of access levels that may be excluded.
If you specify the /NC command, when finished, BGWHO will
create a file named CALLER.NUM in the same directory as the
USER.CTL file (if you are running a LAN, the LANPATH, if not,
the GTPATH). This is a simple text format carriage return,
line feed file containing the total number of calls your
system has received to date. This feature was added at the
request of another sysop. Use it however you see fit.
When BGWHO creates its reports, it pads all user names with
a string of periods. The string of periods is annoying to
some sysops and the /NF parameter is provided to ease your
eyes. If the /NF parameter is used, BGWHO will pad user
names with a string of blank spaces.
All optional parameters can be used at the same time, e.g.
bgwho 7 /ex:0bGF /nf /nc
BGWHO would create a bulletin 7 composed of today's callers
excluding those users that have an access level of '0',
'b', 'G', or 'F'. The user names would be padded with blank
spaces, and a CALLER.NUM file will be created.
