0.80 Fixed : Sometimes a user with name "NONAME" would incorrectly
be inserted in the top nuked users bulletin.
Fixed : Turbo nuke with NONAME would insert incorrect
information in NUKE.LOG.
Changed : Moved the turbo mode selection to the main lightbar,
I found the constant turbo query annoying :)
Added : Started work on a wildcard option, to allow easy
nuking of multi-disk releases without the need to
flag every single file!. This still needs some work.
After entering a wildcard you can turbo nuke the
found files without loosing your current batch file.
NOTE: When turbo nuking files found in a wildcard
search, be SURE that ALL found files are from one
and the same user, turbo nuking will only check the
user (or let you define him) for the first file in
the turbo batch.
Changed : Moved some tmp files to a WORK subdir.
Added : Some more work on the wildcard option, better error
detection, improved the wildcard matching.
Added : An option to the wildcard nuking to allow you to add
the files found to the batch, instead of having to
turbo nuke them.
Added : An abort/reenter option after the wildcard search.
Fixed : When commenting/freeing in turbo mode it was possible
that not all descriptions would be updated (although
all would be freed!), fixed.
Changed : Moved a number of display files to a GRAPH subdir, the
directory was getting cluttered too much.
Added : Ability to change the directory number when editing
the batch.
Added : Ability to select the directory number when selecting
the wildcard option (previously always the upload
directory). This is handy because you may want to
free/comment files which need not always be in the
upload dir.
Fixed : When adding files found with the wildcard option to
the batch only the upload directory would be inserted.
Fixed : Bug in findnuke! When you were processing the last
file in a DIR list and the description was only
one line long it would not detect eof and keep
running! BIG thanks to the person that reported this
to me!!
Added : Help options to the help menu for turbo/wildcard
processing.
Added : BCNUKE.PPS and BCNUKE.PPE to go with Drew's Enhanced
Flag v2.0. The only difference to the one in Eflag
is the path to the batch files which should go in
the WORK subdirectory now!
0.76 Added : An @NALIAS@ macro to use in the *.MSG files instead of
the real name, in case you have an alias board setup.
If you want to use this replace the @NUKER@ macro in
the NUKE.MSG, AWARD.MSG etc with @NALIAS@.
Added : Ability to nuke files in every DIR file instead of
only the upload DIR file, had too many people
complaining about this, so here you go.
Changed : Totally rewritten findnuke.exe and replace.exe to allow
multiple files to be searched/replaced in one call.
Added : Turbo query when Processing the batch. This will
use the defaults selected at the first file for the
rest of the batch, note that all files in the BATCH have
to be from the same user, the nuker ONLY CHECKS the name
for the first file, the rest it assumed to have the same
uploader. To keep the processing fast the flagged files
in the batch have to be in the same DIR file and flagged
sequentially!. Also the Skip/Delete options at the nuke/
award prompt will not be available when turbo nuking.
Added : Option to NUKE.CFG to put the reason description(s)
before or after the *.MSG files.
Added : Option to remove the old description entirely and only
keep the reason etc in the new description when nuking.
This is only done when nuking as in other cases you
might want to keep the description.
Added : When turbo nuking files a single message will be sent
with all nuked files listed in it.
Changed : The moving of the files to an internal move instead of
DOS. It was way too slow when moving lots of files in
turbo mode.
0.75 Changed : The text in the messages was still too long, changed
the layout.
Added : When entering your own comment you can now enter up to 5
lines, to allow for this the comments are now inserted
below the .MSG display files instead of replacing
@REASON@ in them with just one line of comment.
Added : The ability to stack up to 5 comment lines instead
of having to choose one, simply add them together
seperated by spaces (eg. 1 3 5).
Changed : Removed all extraneous color codes from the .MSG files,
might be less colourfull, but it prevents any problems
with pcbfiler and such clipping the lines.
Added : Due to several requests an option to search the
DOWNLOAD.TXT file for an uploader. Use this only if
you cannot remember the name of the uploader or whatever
Searching DOWNLOAD.TXT file can take quite a while,
depending on how big it is (A general problem which
pops up with all utils that have to search the file,
try to keep it as small as possible by using some
utils out there to strip useless entries, or keep only
the latest months in it)
Added : Global security access (line 8 of NUKE.CFG). This is not
used if access is controlled through USERS.CFG.
Added : Access line to USERS.CFG (only used if setup through
NUKE.CFG):
For each user in USERS.CFG the second line indicates
if he has access to certain nuker options as follows:
Token 1: YES to allow the user to nuke files.
Token 2: YES to allow the user to award files.
Token 3: YES to allow the user to free files.
Token 4: YES to allow the user to comment files.
Token 5: YES to allow the user to zerobyte/delete
files without moving them offline.
Added : Noname and manual options to the name lightbars to
force users to explicitly make their choice, the
other way seemed to be somewhat confusing for some.
Changed : Wouldn't abort correctly at the factor/byte prompt
when awarding/nuking.
Added : When no username has been given/found and the nuker
gets at the credits nuking part he's asked whether he
wants to continue (0 bytes/credits will be nuked).
Fixed : When editing the nuke batch sometimes a file would not
be added correctly.
Added : A top nuked bulletin generator (top.exe). A database
is maintained for this purpose. Due to the fact that
TOP.EXE turned out rather large I've made a new main
NUKE.PPE, this spawns MAIN.PPE (the old big nuke.ppe)
and after that updates the bulletin by calling
TOP.EXE. This in an effort to prevent any memory
problems that might occur in memory tight setups. The
first time you exit NUKE.PPE after nuking some files
it will create the nukers database (NUK.DB) together
with an index file (NUK.IDX), do NOT delete any of
these files, if you accidently delete one of them you
will have to start recording nuked users information
all over again!!
Added : Made the updating and showing of the NUKED bulletin
optional (NUKE.CFG, line 11) for those that don't
care for it or, heaven forbid, it's too slow for
you or buggy).
Added : Seperate DUMMY directory for zero-byte files (NUKE.CFG
lines 12 and 13). It's optional for those that don't
want it :-)
0.71 Added : Quite a number of help options.
Changed : Couple of cosmetic bugs fixed and moved the remaining
text to the TEXT file, if you find any text/prompt etc
missing and really want to configure them just let me
know.
Due to popular demand I've decided to make this a public beta.
0.7 Added : Logging of nuked files is now done to NUKE.LOG in the
nuker directory.
Added : Moved all the text to a seperate file 'TEXT' in
preparation for release.
Changed: Changed the insertion of the nuke messages in the DIR
file to have space after the '|', this to prevent problems
with DIR utils like pfed and such which automatically
add the space or remove anything there other then a
space.
Added : PWANUKE.PPE to be added to EFLAG.CFG as an external
command if you use PWAs flagger (got a request for this
so here it is).
Changed: REPLACE and FINDNUKE changed to be able to keep the
entire description in memory to allow for editing and
such (to be added at a later date:-)
Added : USERHDR to display some more information about the file
and user being nuked when selecting the nuke/award
factor.
Changed: Instead of the lame byte nuking of the downloaded bytes
now the uploaded bytes are nuked (not build in initally
due to the lack of such a function in PPL, thought they
would prob. add it in PPLC 3.0, but no *#*!@#$). If a
user is online his bytes will not be nuked/awarded
though!! (this is the same with any other util I've seen,
touch luck ;))
Added : A continue/stop question when a file in the batch is not
found, this because it would be pretty annoying if you
were nuking a bunch of files accidently in the wrong conf
and weren't able to abort.
Changed: When abortin nuke/award by pressing enter when promted
for a description it now returns to the same file
instead of going on the next file in the batch, this
is better in case someone made a mistake.
Added : Description edit option. Test this one out!
Added : Free file addition option.
Added : A @FACTOR@ macro to the nuke.msg and award.msg file
which shows the factor that was used (if it's not
available N/A is shown).
Changed: If no user name was given/found and someone tried to
award it would write AWARD.MSG with no bytes etc
extracted, removed this pretty lame feature ;).
Fixed : Small bug which tried to remove a file from the batch
twice in some places (would still work, but unnecessary)
Added : Comment option to insert a comment into the DIR without
nuking etc...
Added : Seperate comment files for awarding (AWARD.CMT) and
commenting (COMMENT.CMT).
0.6 Changed: Cosmetic fixes on the messages sent to users.
Fixed : Wouldn't delete the old nuke batch from another user if
different users started the nuker again.
Added : Option in NUKE.CFG to force the users to at least move
the nuked files offline if not leave them alone.
Added : When rewarding the message AWARD.MSG is inserted in the
DIR file now.
Added : Docs provided by ANIMAL from (soon to be) 'Animals Arshole'
Changed: Cleaned up some ugly debug output which was still being
displayed.
0.5 Initial beta version, I suspect quite a number of hitches might
turn up in this, that's why I only start at 0.5, we will see :-)
