  21. Go on to next page.  If you have conferencing enabled, you have to press } to
  22. go on to the next conference.  If there are more than one page of subs in the
  23. current conference, choosing (N)ext will take you on to the next page, leaving
  24. you in the current conference.

  26. (P)revious:  
  27. Take you back one page.  Works like (N)ext but in reverse.  If you want to go
  28. back one conference, press {

  30. (T)oggle:  
  31. Toggles the current status of the sub.  Spacebar will do this as well.

  33. (C)lear All:  
  34. Clears all subs currently displayed on the screen.
  35.  
  36. (S)et All:  
  37. Toggles on all subs on trhe current page.

  39. (Q):  
  40. Quit to the main Defaults menu.

  62. The "Next" above the carets will be highlighted.  What this "Next" means is
  63. the Next Page of the current conference.  In this particular conference
  64. ("Local Discussion", as indicated at the top of the page) there is no "Next
  65. page"...there are only the five subs shown on this page in this particular
  66. conference.  Using your up and down arrows, navigate up and down the list of
  67. subs, using your spacebar to toggle off or on any you want to read.  (You may
  68. have to use either the numbers on your numeric keypad, or the ones between the
  69. right Ctrl and Shift keys, or both sets may work.)  The [■] indicates your
  70. desire to read that particular sub. It will change to [ ] when that particular
  71. sub is turned off.

  73. After you finish this page, press } to go to the next conference, and repeat
  74. the process.  The next conference should look something like this:

  89. In this particular case, most all of the subs are related to Sysops, and you
  90. may not be interested in them at all, or a very few of them.  In this case, you
  91. will benefit by selecting "Clear ALL", which will de-select them all, then
  92. turn on the ones you want to include (again by using your arrow keys and
  93. spacebar).  Also, in this conference, there is probably more than one page.

  95. "Prev" will take you back a page in the current conference.
  96. "Toggle" does the same thing as the spacebar.
  97. "Set ALL" will turn on all subs in the current conference.
  98. "Read New" will show you the messages in whatever sub you have highlighted at
  99.       the time.  This is good if you want to see a sample of the messages in a
  100.       sub where the title may be unclear of what the sub is about.
  101. "{ and } Conf" will go backwards or forwards one conference.
  102. "Quit" takes you back the the main QWK menu.

  104. Once you select all the subs you wish to read, you will not need to do this
  105. again unless I have mechanical problems with my computer.  So please don't
  106. think this is something you'll have to do each time you log on.  Also, if/when
  107. I add more message bases, they are automatically added into your scan so that
  108. you will know they are there.  If I add something new and you don't like it or
  109. don't care to read it, you simply turn it off in the above manner.
