  1.   This release of Corncob 3D consists of 3 files.
  2.  
  3. README.      --  This text file
  4. INSTALL.EXE  --  An installer program that will install to a Hard Disk.
  5.                  It will make a directory, then run the self-extractor.
  6. 10521971.EXE --  A self-extracting compressed archive of all the files
  7.                  in the Corncob game. 
  8.  
  9. Installing the game from a floppy:
  10. ----------------------------------
  11.  
  12.   To install the Corncob on your hard disk from a floppy, just type
  13. the following line at your DOS prompt.  The install program will
  14. ask you to type the directory name where you would like Corncob to be
  15. installed.  Do not try to install Corncob to the same directory as a
  16. previous version.

  18. A:INSTALL           ( runs the installation program             )

  21.   To play the game, type:

  23. CORNCOB
  24.  
  25.   The game should now be installed and running fine.

  28. Installing the game from a distributed ZIP file.
  29. ------------------------------------------------

  31.   When you run the install program it will prompt you for the pathname
  32. of the directory where you would like to install Corncob.  This directory
  33. may or may not exist already, but please don't try to install Corncob in
  34. a directory already used by an earlier version.
  35.   Alternatively, you may wish to simply copy the 10521971.EXE self-extracting
  36. file into the desired directory, and then run it.
  37.   In either case, once Corncob is installed, you may want to delete the 
  38. 10521971.EXE file (to save disk space).  IE once the installation is complete,
  39. this 10521971.EXE file is no longer needed.
