Here's a recipe for fried rice.
Prepare one cup of boiled rice. Leave to dry in refridgerator for
several days.
Ingredients needed:
4 Scallion Stalks (chopped)
1 egg
Any type of green vegetable (broccoli, snow peas, greeen beans, etc.)
Garlic Powder
Soy Sauce
Hoisin Sauce
Honey
First chop up the scallions, stir the egg in a cup and then prepare the
sauce. I never measure but in a cup pu about an 8th of an inch of soy
sauce, then hosin suace, and a little sprinkle of honey and put aside.
Heat the wok up an add a capful of oil. When the oil starts to smoke,
sprinkle on a little garlic power and throw the rice into the owok. Stir
fry the rice for 2 to 3 minutes and add another capful (one or two
tablespoons) of oil if necessary). Push rice to the side (if he rice
won't stay on the side of the wok take it out) add another capful of
oil, a little more garlic powder and throw in the veggies. Stir fry for
approximately one minute and push aside. REpeat the same procedure for
the eggs (stir fry them till they're scrambled and not too soft).
Now put the rice back into the wok, throw the scallions in and pour the
prepared sauce over the mixture and stir around for approx. 30 to 45
seconds. Take out of the wok and you're ready to enjoy!
You can also add meat to the rice if you prefer. One tip for preparing
the rice is to get a large strainer and wash the rice out under cold
water while rubbing the grains through your hands until the water runs
clear. This will remove alot of the starch.
