SEC_COM_GEN
The names of the
participants in your
event data base are
displayed. A maximum of
five at a time are
shown. If you have more
scroll the display by
using the page up and
page down keys.
To select a participant
position the pointer to
a name using the up and
down arrow keys. Press
the enter key to see a
menu of functions you
may perform for the
participant.
Press the F2 key to
perform activity on a
participants data base
record. A pull down
menu will appear
allowing you to select
the desired activity.
You may view, edit,
delete, or add records.
SEC_COM_ADD
This option allows you
to add a participant to
the event data base.
Activating this option
will display a data
entry screen. Use the
screen to record the
participants initial
information.
SEC_COM_CHG
This option allows you
to view and optionally
change a participants
information.
The participant for
action is the one
pointed to in the
displayed list of
participants.
Activating this option
will display a data
entry screen showing
the information that is
currently recorded for
the participant. Use
the screen for viewing
or for changing the
information.
SEC_COM_DEL
This option allows you
to delete a participant
from the event data
base.
The participant for
deletion is the one
pointed to in the
displayed list of
participants.
Activating this option
will display a screen
showing the information
that is currently
recorded for the
participant.
After viewing the
information you may
delete the participant
or cancel the deletion.
SEC_COM_FUN_11
Select this menu item
to log an event to the
participants data base
record.
SEC_COM_FUN_12
Select this menu item
to display the partic-
ipants current and pre-
vious weeks stats.
You can optionally
print the current
weeks stats.
SEC_COM_FUN_13
Select this menu item
to display the partic-
ipants lifetime stats.
You can optionally
print the lifetime
stats.
SEC_COM_FUN_14
Select this menu item
to set or change the
participants weekly
goal of distance and
time.
SEC_COM_FUN_15
This option should only
be executed after you
have logged your last
event for a calendar
year. When you select
this option you will be
given the opportunity
to cancel before the
option is executed.
Select this menu item
to begin a new year for
the participant.
The current year logged
distance will be moved
to the previous year
logged distance, then
the current year logged
distance will be set to
zero.
SEC_COM_FUN_16
Select this menu item
to display or edit the
participants log of
vital signs.
You can optionally
print the vital signs.
SEC_COM_FUN_17
Select this menu item
to perform a fitness
analysis on the partic-
ipant.
You will be given the
choice of a precise or
a estimated analysis.
The estimated analysis
will be based upon a
question and answer
dialogue.
For a precise analysis
you will be asked to
select an entry in the
vital signs log for
use as the basis of
the analysis.
You may optionally
print the analysis.
SEC_COM_FUN_18
Select this menu item
to display or edit the
participants database
of Special Events.
This function allows
you to,
. create a new Special
Event record
. update a Special
Event record
. delete a Special
Event record
. print a Special
Event record
SEC_COM_FUN_19
Select this menu item
to exit the FITZ
program.
SEC_COM_MED
Distance is recorded in
your database as miles
or kilometers. This is
known as the recording
media.
The media for your
database was originaly
set when you created
your database record.
Chose this option to
change the recording
media in your database.
The participant for
media change is the
one pointed to in the
displayed list of
participants.
Executing this option
will display a screen
showing the first page
of information that is
currently recorded for
the participant.
After viewing the
information you may
change the media or
cancel the change.
If you change the media
all distances recorded
in your database will
be converted to the
other media.
