Tapete
============
Purpose?
With AmigaOS 2.0, you may use patterns as background for your
workbench. These patterns are limited to 16×16 pixels, so really
interisting patterns are impossible.
Tapete allows you to use an arbritrary sized image as wb pattern.
Disadvantages?
Tapete doesn't work correctly if the workbench window isn't a backdrop-
window.
Although it's VERY unlikely (1 : 1E75), Tapete may destroy other programs
display.
Tapete depends on AmigaOS 2.04
Tapete doesn't work correclty if the image used as backgound has less
planes then the workbench screen.
Advantages?
Tapete ist small (<10K).
Tapete doesn't need much merory, if used with a small image (ca. 25K).
Source is included.
Tapete is written using Amiga Oberon.
Usage?
To start Tapete from Workbench select an image image, hold the shift key
and double-select Tapete.
Within a shell type 'Tapete <image>', where <image> stands for the name
of the image to be displayed as background. You may set the option
'SAMECOLORS'. Then Tapete won't change the WB colors.
Quit?
To quit Tapete, restart it or send it a break (^C).
Examples?
This packages should include some example pictures.
To activate them, doubleclick their icons.
The examples depend on a Workbench screen with 3 planes (8 colors).
