  2.           PERFECT FOR ALL TIME
  3.  
  4.      Some confused Christians have the tragic belief that
  5. they became Christians by faith, but they must perform
  6. certain works in order to maintain their standing before
  7. God.
  8.  
  9.      Any system that says that ANYTHING must be added to
  10. the grace of God is a false gospel.  The salvation which
  11. Jesus Christ purchased at Calvary for believers was "PAID
  12. IN FULL" then and there.
  13.  
  14.      The Bible says, "For by one offering He has perfected
  15. for all time those who are sanctified."  (Hebrews 10:14
  16. NAS)

  18.      True believers are made holy--sanctified--by the
  19. sacrificial offering of Jesus Christ.  His death and His
  20. Resurrection -victory over death have purchased a salvation
  21. which is good "for all time".  The word here translated
  22. "perfect" includes the idea of being made complete and
  23. mature.  There IS something for the believer to do, but
  24. obedience is BECAUSE we are saved, not IN ORDER to be saved
  25. or to STAY saved.

  27.      A believer in Christ Jesus has no reason at all to
  28. feel insecure or incomplete or inadequate.
  29.  
  30.      The Christian's EXPERIENCE is a growth process by
  31. stages.  First, we're "born again" (John 3:1-21), then we
  32. "grow" as Christians (II Peter 3:18), but the offering that
  33. purchased it was once-for-all, paid-in-full, and perfect
  34. for all time.
  35.  
  36.      We encourage you to read for yourself the letters of
  37. Peter, the Gospel and letters of John, and if you want
  38. heavier references to the Hebrew Scriptures, the Gospel of
  39. Matthew and the letter to the Hebrews.
  40.  
  41.      If you want a secure, fully paid-for eternity with
  42. Jesus, put your trust in Him as your Savior and Lord RIGHT
  43. NOW.
