  2.           "I DON'T UNDERSTAND"
  3.  
  4.      One really big problem that we Christians have in
  5. trying to share our message is that it is so SIMPLE, some
  6. people think there must be more to it.  They object, "Hey,
  7. wait now!  This is TOO simple.  Where's the catch?  I don't
  8. understand."
  9.  
  10.      The simple truth is that God not only offers you
  11. forgiveness and eternal life through faith in His Son Jesus
  12. Christ; but He also COMMANDS you to abandon whatever
  13. value-system you did have and to adopt His values, His
  14. ways, and His objectives, to be pursued in His power.
  15.  
  16.      Jesus promises that you can be SURE of the Truth for
  17. yourself, but the condition is that you FIRST submit your
  18. will to God with a commitment to OBEY the Truth that He
  19. shows you.

  21.      The Lord Jesus said, "If anyone wants to do His will,
  22. he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from
  23. God or whether I speak on My own authority." (John 7:17
  24. NKJ)

  26.      FIRST, make your commitment to the Truth; THEN set out
  27. to read straight through the Gospel of John several times,
  28. asking God to show you (inwardly) whether this is Truth or
  29. not.

  31.      We confidently expect you to find the Truth in the
  32. person of our Lord Jesus, Israel's Messiah, and in the Old
  33. and New Covenants which we accept as God's holy and
  34. inerrant Word.
  35.      Don't wait until you understand all the details: Put
  36. your trust in the Lord Jesus, right now.
