  3.    As on life's road I rush along,
  4.  
  5.    Seeking its pleasure with the throng,
  6.  
  7.    Looking for fun and flattery,
  8.  
  9.    Have you forgotten--Calvary?
  10.  
  11.    Pitiful tribes in darkness grope,
  12.  
  13.    Never have heard of Christ, their Hope;
  14.  
  15.    More fancy churches, this the plea,
  16.  
  17.    While I'm forgetting--Calvary.
  18.  
  19.    Houses and cars and freezers fine,
  20.  
  21.    While hungry orphans wait in line,
  22.  
  23.    Rice in their bowls they cannot see
  24.  
  25.    While I'm forgetting--Calvary.
  26.  
  27.    Lepers, unwanted, homeless roam,
  28.  
  29.    While faithless stewards rest at home;
  30.  
  31.    Sad is their plight; their agony,
  32.  
  33.    While I'm forgetting--Calvary.
  34.  
  35.    Plenty for self from God's own store,
  36.  
  37.    Deaf is my ear as cries outpour,
  38.  
  39.    Calloused my heart, 0, can it be
  40.  
  41.    That I've forgotten--Calvary?
  42.  
  43.    Treasures of earth will soon decay,
  44.  
  45.    Nothing above I've stored away;
  46.  
  47.    Wood, hay, and stubble, woe is me,
  48.  
  49.    If I've forgotten--Calvary.
  50.  
  51.    "Whose shall these THINGS be"
  52.  
  53.    when I'm gone?

  55.    Things I have set my heart upon;
  56.  
  57.    Naught in my hand to offer Thee--

  59.    LORD, I've forgotten--Calvary!
