  1. FRACTAL DESIGN DABBLER 2.0

  3. Thank you for purchasing Dabbler 2.0. We hope you have as
  4. much fun using this program as we did writing it.
  5.  
  6. We know you don't want to read this file... so go ahead and
  7. start playing with Dabbler. You can come back and read this
  8. later.
  9.  
  10. DOCUMENTATION
  11. -------------------------------------------------------------
  12. Dabbler 2.0 uses Tutors for on-line instruction. When using
  13. these Tutors, the Dabbler CD must be in your CD-ROM drive.
  14.  
  15. The documentation for Dabbler 2.0 is on-line. To access the
  16. on-line manual select How To Use Dabbler from the Tutors
  17. menu.
  18.  
  19. INSTALLATION
  20. -------------------------------------------------------------
  21. The TYPICAL install will copy stencils, paper textures and
  22. sample movies to your Dabbler directory. If you want to
  23. conserve disk space you can delete these extras and use the
  24. duplicate copies in the GOODIES directory of the CD.
  25.  
  26. The COMPACT install does not copy any of the extras found
  27. in the GOODIES directory. If you run the COMPACT
  28. installation, be sure to check out all the stuff in the GOODIES
  29. directory.

  31. The Macintosh version has an electronic registration system
  32. that allows you to register via modem. If you don't have a
  33. modem or are installing the Windows version of Dabbler, a
  34. printed registration form is included in the box. Please
  35. take a minute to complete the registration.

  37. WINDOWS USERS: To use the Dabbler Uninstaller, you will
  38. need to restart Windows if you have been running Dabbler.

  40. IMPORTANT
  41. -------------------------------------------------------------
  42. For Windows users: If you are experiencing printing
  43. problems, please verify the following: 
  44.  - The No Print Banding option is checked in the 
  45.    Edit:Set Preferences:Windows Setup... dialog. 
  46.  - The physical size of the image will fit on the printer 
  47.    page (typically 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches). 
  48.  - The Free Memory for Printing option is checked in the 
  49.    Edit:Set Preferences: Windows Setup...dialog.
