FRACTAL DESIGN DABBLER 2.0

Thank you for purchasing Dabbler 2.0. We hope you have as
much fun using this program as we did writing it.

We know you don't want to read this file... so go ahead and
start playing with Dabbler. You can come back and read this
later.

DOCUMENTATION
-------------------------------------------------------------
Dabbler 2.0 uses Tutors for on-line instruction. When using
these Tutors, the Dabbler CD must be in your CD-ROM drive.

The documentation for Dabbler 2.0 is on-line. To access the
on-line manual select How To Use Dabbler from the Tutors
menu.

INSTALLATION
-------------------------------------------------------------
The TYPICAL install will copy stencils, paper textures and
sample movies to your Dabbler directory. If you want to
conserve disk space you can delete these extras and use the
duplicate copies in the GOODIES directory of the CD.

The COMPACT install does not copy any of the extras found
in the GOODIES directory. If you run the COMPACT
installation, be sure to check out all the stuff in the GOODIES
directory.

The Macintosh version has an electronic registration system
that allows you to register via modem. If you don't have a
modem or are installing the Windows version of Dabbler, a
printed registration form is included in the box. Please
take a minute to complete the registration.

WINDOWS USERS: To use the Dabbler Uninstaller, you will
need to restart Windows if you have been running Dabbler.

IMPORTANT
-------------------------------------------------------------
For Windows users: If you are experiencing printing
problems, please verify the following: 
 - The No Print Banding option is checked in the 
   Edit:Set Preferences:Windows Setup... dialog. 
 - The physical size of the image will fit on the printer 
   page (typically 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches). 
 - The Free Memory for Printing option is checked in the 
   Edit:Set Preferences: Windows Setup...dialog.
