FABRIZIO FEA Rome, November 1994 Dear Colleague, on behalf of the Organizing Committee it is my pleasure to invite you to participate to the First International M.A.M.H. Congress Rome 1994. Research and treatment of mental retardation will be the main theme of this Congress. Our Conference represents a unique opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas, research findings and innovative theories and practices with Colleagues from a multidisciplinary point of view. Meanwhile I want to underline to all of you that in this Congress it will be examined more than the medical aspect only. My invitation is extended to all whose interest is mental retardation. The Organizing Committee is very pleased to have received reactions from over thirty five countries as a result of our first announcement.
