  3. Manhattan Dry - see prep 
  4. below

  8. Rye                         2 1/2 oz
  9. French vermouth   1 oz
  10. Lemon twist           garnish

  12. Preparation:
  13. Stir well with ice and then 
  14. strain into a cocktail glass. 
  15. Garnish with a lemon twist 
  16. and serve.
  17. Variation: To make
  18. a Regular Manhattan 
  19. substitute sweet red 
  20. vermouth for French 
  21. vermouth and garnish 
  22. with a cherry. To make 
  23. Sweet Manhattan
  24. substitute French 
  25. vermouth for dry 
  26. vermouth and garnish 
  27. with a cherry. To make
  28. a Perfect Manhattan
  29. use red, dry and white 
  30. vermouth.
