  1. ** 164    Whiskey Sour (Variation) **
  2. @This is a variation of 
  3. Whiskey Sour - see prep 
  4. below

  6. Serves 1
  7.  
  8. Juice of 1 lemon
  9. Confectioners' sugar 1/2 tsp
  10. Blended whiskey        2 oz
  11. Orange slice               garnish
  12. Maraschino cherry    garnish

  14. Preparation:
  15. Pour the lemon juice, 
  16. whiskey, and sugar into an 
  17. ice-filled mixing glass.
  18. Shake and strain into an 
  19. ice-filled sour glass. Add
  20. garnishes and serve.
  21. Variation: To make an 
  22. Amaretto Sour substitute
  23. amaretto for whiskey. To
  24. make Rum 
  25. substitute rum for 
  26. whiskey. To make Vodka,
  27. Tequila, or Gin Sours,
  28. substitute for their
  29. spirits.
