  4. Scotch                        1 1/2 oz
  5. Sweet red vermouth  1/2 oz
  6. Cherry                        garnish

  8. Preparation:
  9. Pour the scotch and 
  10. vermouth into an ice filled 
  11. shaker. Shake and strain
  12. into a chilled cocktail 
  13. glass. Garnish with a cherry
  14. and serve.
  15. Variations: To make a Dry 
  16. Rob Roy substitute dry 
  17. vermouth for sweet red
  18. vermouth. To make a 
  19. Perfect Rob Roy use 1/4 
  20. oz dry vermouth, 1/4 oz 
  21. sweet vermouth and 1 oz 
  22. scotch.
