Go to your local marine store and check out the pumps. The one that immediately
comes to mind is both handle powered and foot powered. They are intended for
manually bailing out your boat, so some pump an incredible amount of water.

There's a brand of BILGE PUMP available at any marine store that looks very
much like a bicycle pump and moves quite a volume. I've owned several
over the years (for bilge pumping). Seems like they're $20 or so...

Try any MARINE (boat) store or mailorder catalog (maybe WalMart,
Sears, or K-Mart in some areas). "Bilge pumps," for getting water out of
the bottom of the boat are available in a number of sizes and types. Most
are designed to suck water up, not force it to a great height or pressure.
