VegSocUK Information Sheet
THE VEGETARIAN SOCIETY
VEGETARIAN BEERS
All cask conditioned beers (real ales) will have been fined using isinglass,
a gelatine taken from the swim bladders of certain tropical fish, especially
the Chinese Sturgeon. Many keg, bottled and canned beers and lagers may also
have been fined using isinglass. The following list are all acceptable for
vegetarians and vegans.
