This small (seventy-five millimetre) wood carving from the late period of Dorset culture shows the clothing of the time. The double coat, trousers and high boots, or kamiks, resemble later Inuit clothing, but the Inuit parka hood appears to be replaced by a high three-sided collar. The round "blowing" mouth of the figure is characteristic of many Dorset representations of humans.
