The Quebec Gazette/La Gazette de QuΘbec was printed by Gilmore and Brown; their shop finally descended to John Neilson. A French translator was hired, as both printers spoke only English. Both design and presswork are superior to those of Bushel; the open spacing of the type makes the paper attractive and easy to read. The types themselves are Caslon, from the foundry shown in illustration 4.
