Located south of Cape Harrison in Groswater Bay, this harbour was a favourite anchorage for floaters and a popular location for stationers. It has never had a permanent settlement and was used only on a seasonal basis. It contained a fairly large number of fishing rooms and was used as a shelter, when necessary, by floaters. Sir William Grenfell established a hospital here in 1894 for the benefit of the summer fishermen. In 1975 three small family crews of stationers fished here.
