- -------------------
-
- I went to the reserve in the afternoon, and ignoring the light covering of
- snow, I tackled several minor jobs. I cut back a little more of a bay near
- the entrance. I then cut down the leaning willow near the nisson hut, and
- cleared it up. It started ti snow, so I sheltered. I was disturbed to
- notice, that the nisson hut was starting to creak with the gusts of wind,
- and the base was cracking where one of the arches joined.
-
- I felled most of the suitable trees near the edge of the pond where the
- wildfowlers had done there work. The idea was to try to minimise the numbers
- of people walking there. I then tidied up a few bits of willow near the fen.
