  4. I went to the reserve in the afternoon, and ignoring the light covering of
  5. snow, I tackled several minor jobs. I cut back a little more of a bay near
  6. the entrance. I then cut down the leaning willow near the nisson hut, and
  7. cleared it up. It started ti snow, so I sheltered. I was disturbed to
  8. notice, that the nisson hut was starting to creak with the gusts of wind,
  9. and the base was cracking where one of the arches joined.

  11. I felled most of the suitable trees near the edge of the pond where the
  12. wildfowlers had done there work. The idea was to try to minimise the numbers
  13. of people walking there. I then tidied up a few bits of willow near the fen.
