  4. This application is Public Domain. It may not be lent, hired 
  5. out or sold for more than the almighty sum of £2.00 on a Double
  6. Density disc, or 60p extra for an HD disc (or the appropriate
  7. local currency. If you wish to charge more, write to me, bribes 
  8. are gratefully accepted. The DataFile is excluded from this, as 
  9. I know that they always charge fairly!

  11. This is to stop *certain* PD libraries from overcharging (you 
  12. know who you are!). PD is PD and is not a way to make a fortune.
  13. This programme has been released into the PD via THE DATAFILE 
  14. (see file "HelloTo" for the address).

  16. None of the filetypes are guaranteed to be 100% correct, or
  17. even 95% correct (10% is probably getting closer!). Some of
  18. the filetypes have had names made up for them, and some have had 
  19. sprites made up for them (general rule :- If the sprite or the
  20. name is cr*p, it's probably mine..). I accept no responsibilty 
  21. for misinformation caused by this application.

  23. I recently got hold of a complete list of allocated filetypes
  24. by Denis Howe dated ** 10 Jun 92 ** and that listed 604 
  25. filetypes (including clashes)! 
  26.  
  27. Add about 100 extra filetypes for a rough guess for today and we end
  28. up with a grand total of 25% (ish) complete! A programmers job
  29. is never done! Now that we are in v.3.xx, the running total is at
  30. about 550 odd. That means that this is as up to date as I can get
  31. it, so its up to you to start sending me new types.

  34. damage caused by this application to electrical and electronic 
  35. equipment, family, relatives, or their pets. So if your 
  36. video stops working and your gran decides to compete in the 
  37. Olympic 100 metres, don't blame me... (as if you would!)
