This was all I could salvage from the original thread started by VSC's
original ad.
This thread deserved some additional comments from me. I included these in
(parenthesies) to separate them from the original text. Also notice how
the news.accessone.com postings always seem to make it to the microsoft.*
groups. I wonder if they have a deal with MS to feed off their news
server, because that server doesn't participate in Usenet.

Maybe when you try it, the applications didn't use VRAMDIR enough. We
suggest you keep VRAMDIR on your system for several days. Every time
before you shutdown or restart Windows, look up the VRAMDIR
performance statistics in System Monitor, to see if the number of
bytes VRAMDIR read/wrote and the number of operations VRAMDIR
performed is large enough to worth $10.
(Well, maybe we could do that if it let us run the thing longer than 30
minutes at a time.)

Uninstall does not take effect until Windows restarts.
Maybe VRAMDIR is not set up correctly, or maybe when you try it, the
applications didn't use VRAMDIR enough. We suggest you keep VRAMDIR on
your system for several days. Every time before you shutdown or
restart Windows, look up the VRAMDIR performance statistics in System
Monitor, to see if the number of bytes VRAMDIR read/wrote and the
