Samuel Johnson is an artist born in 1965 in Ontario, Canada. He travelled widely during the years 1987-1997 in Africa, Europe, and the United States, supporting this period of travel with employment as a carpenter and house painter. He acknowledged as influences for his artistic practice the works of Richard Long and Michael Heizer.
