Michael Bullock is a poet, author and playwright born in London, England in 1918. In 1968 he came to Canada as a Commonwealth Fellow at the University of British Columbia, where he was appointed professor, retiring in 1983. He was New Asia Ming Yu Visiting Scholar in 1989 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and in 1994 became Advisor to the New Poetry Society of China. He is the author of some forty volumes of poetry and fiction and two plays.
Scope and content
The collection consists of one book of poetry entitled "Dark Roses," by Michael Bullock, London: Third Eye, 1994, and twenty black silk rose boutonnieres.
