Thomas Burgin is an electronic artist and musician born in St. Gall, Switzerland in 1975. His compact discs in distribution include "Mizan Prehistoric Carma," 1997, and "SAS Project," "La rue de mort," 1995.
Scope and content
The collection consists of a drawing by Helen Munch, ink on paper 14 x 25 cm, August 1997, sent to Thomas Burgin, and two pages of manuscript text by Burgin, entitled "The Munch-Thing" 1997, and an audio sound recording, "Spiritual Connection," 3.5 minutes of music composed and produced by Burgin, 1997.
Note
The artist met the granddaughter of Edvard Munch by chance through an Internet Chat Box, and received the drawing from her; at that same time he was listening to "Spiritual Connection". Things like this seem to happen when the artist listens to this track.
