Peter C. Sickert is an intern architect, collage and assemblage artist, and host of the CITR radio show Breakfast with the Browns. He studied at the University of British Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1991.
Scope and content
The collection consists of one cardboard box, 10 x 5 x 9.5 cm, labelled with list of contents, containing 10 "raw materials," or found objects assembled by Sickert since 1987 and contained in plastic ziploc bags, one desk top Rolodex, alphabetically organized, containing images, text, photoprints, and natural matter, and an audio cassette tape recording of music, assembled by Sickert.

Peter Sickert stated that he has a longstanding interest in the nature of memory and how memory is triggered. Using found objects, text, photos, as well as sound/music as his starting point, his mixed media pieces try to reveal and uncover partially forgotten narratives. His pieces act as memory triggers as well as memory archives. The submission for "Artropolis '97 Browser" focuses on the sources of inspiration and the process involved in the creation of an art piece. The components that make up the submission includes images, text, and found objects, as well as music.
