Note:
The artist accompanies the material with this statement: "I have chosen photographs to put into the Hollinger Archival box. The photos chosen are mementos of my European travels. The purpose of an archival box is that it contains photos, documents, objects, anything of relevance and of value to our history for safekeeping and reference use. My photos not only document my travels and what I found of interest, but they themselves document historical European sites. Part of my love is for the history found in each photograph. I have included photos of the Palace of Versailles, the gardens and sculptures of Rodin's home and the Austrian palace of Schloss Schonbrunn. These chosen photos have been treated as precious objects. They are pristinely framed in beautiful ornate decorative wood antique frames to complement the rich opulence of the environments photographed. The size of the photoprints, 2 by 3 inches, brings each work down to an intimate scale, allowing the viewer to hold these works individually as cherished objects."
