Eva Waldauf is an artist working in painting, sculpture, and collage, born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1960. She studied at Sheridan College in the Art Foundation Program from 1980-1981, at the Ontario College of Art in the Experimental Arts Program in 1989, and at Simon Fraser University from 1994-1997.
Scope and content
The collection consists of one quarter of a coconut shell, intended be part of a sculpture "Sleeping Goddess" by Eva Waldauf, three envelopes containing images of people and places that artist is inspired by, one ziploc bag containing a fabric piece and drawing, from an installation by Waldauf, entitled "Celtic Moon: Prophecy and Vine," one ziploc bag containing sheets, a sand dollar, a candle, and a pop-up book "Kisses," one ziploc containing collage supplies and a feather, five photosheets with colour and black and white photoprints of Waldauf's work, from a ten year period until the present,one sheet with textual information about a registry to view slides of Waldauf's work, one sketchbook containing drawings, collages, and watercolours on nine pages, one sketchbook containing a drawing of "Sleeping Goddess," and a scrapbook containing textual and visual information concerning Waldauf's sources for inspiration.
