Mario Tomas-Niedworok is a painter and scenic artist born in 1965 in Montevideo, Uruguay. He studied from 1985-1986 at the School of Fine arts in Montevideo, and in 1987 at the Worchester Art Museum, Massachusetts.
Scope and content
The collection consists of a closed clear Plexiglas box, 1997, 25 x 37 x 4.5 cm, with compartments containing a variety of materials including shells, photographs, rocks, and driftwood; two manila envelopes, 1997, each containing a folded colour photoprint, 93 x 75 cm, of paintings by Tomas-Niedworok, and one grey binder, sixteen pages, including a sleeve of twenty colour slides of Tomas-Niedworok's paintings from 1996, eighteen colour photoprints of Tomas-Niedworokt's paintings, five photocopies of articles about the artist's exhibitions, and a curriculum vitae.
