This loan is of sufficient amount to rig a modest trade ship, hire a crew, and purchase a cargo. It is your responsibility to manage the finances of your ship. This includes crew payroll, continued attainment of cargo contracts, and repayment of any outstanding loans. Once your loan has been repaid you will be under no further obligation to ITC. You may retain your ITC status and receive a standard salary plus retirement benefits or become a Free Trader and build your own fleet of trading ships. It is necessary to note that as a Free Trader you are still accountable for violations of trade laws.
