  18. When you access a Macintosh volume on a Windows NT Advanced Server computer
  19. from a Macintosh computer, sometimes you see multiple copies of your
  20. directory or you do not see your directory at all. This problem occurs when
  21. under the following conditions:
  22.  
  23.  - A main user directory is created with full control permissions granted
  24.    to Everyone.
  25.  - Each individual user is given a separate sub-directory with full control
  26.    granted only to the Administrators group and the user.
  27.  - More than 13 (roughly) users have similarly created directories.

  32. Use Macintosh file permissions to control file and directory access in
  33. similar situations.
  34.  
  35. NOTE: You must use all Macintosh file permissions to resolve the problem.
  36. The problem still occurs if you mix Windows NT and Macintosh file
  37. permissions.

  42. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  43. Advanced Server version 3.10. We are researching this problem and will post
  44. new information in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
