  19. Error messages stating that the WOWEXEC component of Windows NT (the
  20. 16-bit Windows subsystem) could not be started may appear after
  21. installing the French version of Windows NT or Windows NT Advanced
  22. Server from CD-ROM. This is caused by a bad KB16.COM file.

  27. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
  28. Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
  29. the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
  30. Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
  31. query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without
