  19. Try to connect to a share on an OS/2 or Windows for Workgroups
  20. computer. Use the NET command and let it prompt you for a password. If
  21. the password has any extended characters, you are not able to gain
  22. access to the share.

  27. The NET command destroys ALT key sequences.

  29. RESOLUTION

  32. Enter the password on the NET command line, using the ALT key for
  33. extended characters.

  38. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version
  39. 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information
