  18. The File Locks information in the MacFile Properties dialog box
  19. (accessed through Control Panel) is sometimes different than the
  20. information in the "Files Opened by Macintosh Users on Servername"
  21. dialog box (accessed by clicking the Files button). Usually, the
  22. number of locked files in the MacFile list is higher.

  24. CAUSE

  27. This behavior can be caused by a Macintosh placing a lock on a file, a
  28. PC deletes the file, and the Macintosh continues to try to unlock the
  29. file.
