  4.   If  you  can't  park  your  car  all
  5. winter, you're going to have to expect
  6. to see rust one day.  At  that  point,
  7. my advice is to sell!                 
  8.   Another huge area with salt problems
  9. is along the ocean and gulf shores.  I
  10. know it's nice to drive  your  vehicle
  11. right up to the water so you have  all
  12. your things handy . . . but again,  it
  13. is that dirty word salt.    These  are
  14. not as bad as the salt zone  up  north
  15. 'cause you are in warm  weather.    At
  16. most exits from beaches, they have car
  17. washes which have  to be a  must visit

  20. before you head home.  Really go  over
  21. it with gusto.  If you have ever  seen
  22. floor boards rust completely out,  you
  23. know what I mean.                     
  24.   Use all the high pressure  there  is
  25. available and make sure you hit  every
  26. nook and cranny under the car.  It  is
  27. better to find out  you  have  a  leak
  28. somewhere than to let one corner under
  29. a door go  unwashed.    This  kind  of
  30. effort will pay off in  the  long  run
  31. when  your   car  still  looks  great.  
  32. Until science finds out what rust  is,
  33. we have no alternative.
