  1. This is a special installable version with which all optional modules 
  2. can be installed from diskette or RAM drive (or network drive).
  3.  
  4. The drive must be large enough to hold XRS501.ZIP plus your selected
  5. add-ons (XCSxxxn.ZIP, XRED_xxx.ZIP, XRS501AT.ZIP, etc) files - at least
  6. 720k - 1.2 or more for all options!

  8. Pre-release 5.01 of 10 April 1992.  (see "NEWIN501.DOC" for updates...)

  10. To install XRS on a hard disk system, simply change to the hard drive,
  11. and type "A:INSTALL".  If you have a floppy-only PC, you should follow
  12. the instructions given in "2FLOPPY.XRS" instead!  XRS does -not- require
  13. a hard disk, but using the install program does!

  15. IF YOU RECEIVED AN INSTALLABLE DISKETTE DIRECTLY FROM ME AS OPPOSED TO VIA
  16. DOWNLOAD FROM A BBS, YOU SHOULD SIMPLY PLACE THE DISKETTE IN YOUR A: OR B:
  17. DRIVE AND TYPE "A:INSTALL" FROM YOUR HARD DISK.  THE FILE "READ-ME.INS" IS
  18. TRIVIA IF YOU ARE CURIOUS (but required reading for BBS downloaders!).
