  10. WHAT IS STARMENU?
  11.  
  12. It's a menu program that lets you quickly run the software you have installed
  13. on your PC.  It's not memory resident so it won't conflict with anything else
  14. you use.  STARMENU has a wealth of features that make an ideal front end for
  15. your PC.  Chances are you have an evaluation copy of STARMENU.  If so, you'll
  16. be happy to know it has all of the functionality of the commercial version.
  17. The only difference is an 'Evaluation Copy' message on the menu screen and
  18. registration information in the Technical Support Window.

  20. OK - enough talk.  Let's install STARMENU and see how it works!

  22. HOW TO INSTALL AND RUN STARMENU
  23.  
  24.  1.  If you received STARMENU on diskette, make sure you are logged on to
  25.      the correct disk drive (A: or B:).  If you downloaded STARMENU from a
  26.      bulletin board, make sure you are in the subdirectory where the files
  27.      were uncompressed.

  29.      You should have the following files:   STARMENU.EXE   STARMENU.DOC
  30.                                             SETTINGS.EXE   SETTINGS.DOC
  31.                                             INSTALL.EXE    README.TXT

  33.  2.  Type INSTALL and press Enter.  The STARMENU installation program will
  34.      run.  A screen with 7 default parameters is displayed.  In most cases
  35.      you should accept the defaults and press F10.  More information is pro-
  36.      vided by pressing F1.

  38.  3.  After installation is complete, STARMENU will automatically run if you
  39.      accepted the install default.  At this point you can experiment by
  40.      trying different selections.  A few common programs are already install-
  41.      ed, but if you don't have them on your PC they won't run.

  43.  4.  When you are ready to read the instructions, you can review them on-
  44.      line by selecting the [*] menu category, then choosing Instructions
  45.      from the menu.

  47. WHAT DOES IT COST?
  48.  
  49. Suisun Software believes you should thoroughly test software before buying.
  50. So use STARMENU for as long as you feel is necessary for you to evaluate it.
  51. If you decide it meets your needs, the cost is $25 for one copy.  You will
  52. receive a diskette that has the Evaluation message removed, along with the
  53. latest release of STARMENU.  You will also be given access to the ZEPHYR
  54. bulletin board that will allow you to download the latest copy of STARMENU
  55. at any time you wish.

  57. Site licenses are available based on the number of PC's at your location.
  58. The prices are:    25 - 100   PC's     $  500
  59.                   101 - 1000           $ 1,500
