  1.                          5.  BATCH USE OF ALLWET
  2.

  4.      Mainframes and minicomputers require a machine specific set of control
  5.  
  6. cards required to run ALLWET as a batch program.  The personnel installing
  7.  
  8. ALLWET on your machine will typically create the control card file.  The
  9.  
  10. ALLWET user may then run the program by including a one-line command within
  11.  
  12. the batch job.  The name of the system description file will generally be
  13.  
  14. required within this command.
  15.  
  16.  
  17.      On microcomputers, ALLWET, when accessed, will ask whether batch or
  18.  
  19. interactive use will be involved.  If the user indicates batch, ALLWET, after
  20.  
  21. requesting and being told the name of the system description file, will read
  22.  
  23. the file, perform an analysis, prompt the user for the output file, and then
  24.  
  25. terminate execution.  The interactive command language will not be invoked.
  26.  
  27. Most microcomputer use of ALLWET will be interactive, rather than batch.

  30.      Figure 6 displays output from a batch run containing a successful anal-
  31.  
  32. ysis of the sample problem shown in Figure l and Table 1.  The input file for
  33.  
  34. this run is exactly that of Figure 4.
