  18. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  19. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Tolman Dental Program 3.1 package.

  31.                          Distribution Requirements

  34. Individuals who wish to distribute the Tolman Dental Program package to friends
  35. or associates may do so in accordance with the restrictions outlined in
  36. LICENSE.TXT.
  37.  
  38. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the Tolman Dental Program
  39. package to their disk library may do so in accordance with the Distribution
  40. Restrictions listed below.
  41.  
  42.    If you would like your Computer Club or User Group to be placed on our
  43.    mailing list for future upgrades to any of our products, please contact
  44.    us for complete details.  Our address, phone number, and CompuServe User
  45.    ID number is listed in DESCRIBE.TXT.

  50. As the exclusive copyright holder for Tolman Dental Program, Peter T. Smith
  51. authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.

  53. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  54. distribute Tolman Dental Program package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request
  55. permission prior to distributing this package.

  65. The Tolman Dental Program package is defined as containing all the material
  66. listed in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed in the PACKING.LST
  67. text file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are missing, then the package is
  68. not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a
  69. complete package suitable for distribution.

  71. The Tolman Dental Program package - including all related program files and
  72. documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be distributed
  73. as a complete package, without exception.  The PACKING.LST text file
  74. contains a list of all files that are part of the Tolman Dental Program
  75. package.

  77.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  78.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  79.  
  80. No price or other compensation may be charged for the Tolman Dental Program
  81. package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  82. shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed
  83. US$10.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  85. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  87. The Tolman Dental Program package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  88. inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software
  89. packaging offer, without a written agreement from Peter T. Smith.

  91.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Tolman Dental Program
  92.    package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM
  93.    package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.

  95.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the
  96.    Tolman Dental Program package as part of a collection (such as PsL's
  97.    MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from Peter T.
  98.    Smith prior to beginning such a distribution.
  99.  
  100.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  101.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  102.    is over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  103.    have the most current version.  This version was released in March,
  104.    1992.

  106. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  108. If you would like to distribute the Tolman Dental Program package as a Disk-of-
  109. the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then the
  110. following restrictions apply:

  112.    ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby given
  113.    permission to distribute the Tolman Dental Program package under the Disk-of-
  114.    the-Month style of distribution.

  125.    Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure that you
  126.    have the most current version of the software.

  128.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  129.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  130.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.

  132. The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in part, using
  133. any means, without the written permission of Peter T. Smith.  In other
  134. words, the disk-based documentation may not be distributed in PRINTED
  135. (hardcopy) form.
  136.  
  137. The Tolman Dental Program package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  138.  
  139. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  140. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  141. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  142.  
  143. Peter T. Smith prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  144. Tolman Dental Program package, without written permission from Peter T. Smith.
  145. If the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please contact us
  146. to ensure that you have the most current version.  This version was
  147. released in March, 1991.
  148.  
  149. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  150. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program
  151. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  152. result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  154. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to Peter T. Smith.
