This game is composed of progressive levels of
note-reading difficulty. Each level furthers
some aspect of your note-reading ability.
The game's levels are grouped to form Skill
Levels. Each Skill Level contains six game

When you successfully complete a game level, you
automatically move on to the next higher level.

Scoring is straightforward in this game. You are
awarded 100 points for each correctly played note.
For example, harmonic intervals are worth 200
points. In addition, for each correct note you
play, 20 points are added to the running bonus.
BUT, if you make a mistake the bonus is set back
to zero! The running bonus is then added to the
score for each correctly played event (note, chord
or interval). As you can see, accuracy is richly
rewarded.
At the end of each level, you are given points for
the amount of time left on the timer. In addition,
if you did not make a single mistake in the level
you are awarded an additional 1000 points.
Now, if you start the game at a Skill Level higher
than 'Just starting', you get more points than
indicated above. Starting at the second Skill
Level effectively doubles your potential score.
Starting at the third level triples your score,
and so on.
At the end of the game, your score is compared to
a list of High Scores. If your score is greater
than the last one in the list, you are placed in
the list for all to see.
