  1. TREE MONKEYS
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. 1 piece of construction paper
  5. Tree parts
  6. White crafts glue
  7. Peanuts in the shell
  8. Crayons or markers
  9. Pieces of yarn or string, about 2 inches long
  10.  
  11. STEP 1
  12. For the tree trunk, tear a strip of brown paper.
  13.  
  14. For grass, tear a strip of green paper.
  15.  
  16. For branches, tear about 10 more strips of green paper.
  17.  
  18. STEP 2
  19. Glue the tree trunk on the paper.  Glue the grass to cover the bottom of the tree trunk.  
  20.  
  21. To make branches, fold about 10 green paper strips in half.  Glue the folded ends on top of the tree trunk.

  23. STEP 3
  24. For the monkey's body, put glue on the paper and place a peanut in the shell on it.  
  25.  
  26. Use crayons to draw a face, legs, and arms.

  28. STEP 4
  29. To make a monkey's tail, put glue in the shape of a tail on the paper where the tail should be.  Lay a piece of yarn on the glue.  Let it dry.
